To be honest, I never thought I’d have a blog like this. My life changed, and eventually, my vision of the future changed to embrace and even welcome the change. At the end of the day, I’m so grateful for the journey I’ve traveled, because it has brought me to exactly where I should be … comfortable in my own skin, striving to be the person I was always meant to be. But I am no different from all the women reading this blog … you are finding your way, you are strong, you are determined, you are powerful and you are more than enough. I want you to see yourself in me, in my journey, and know deep down in your heart that you have everything inside yourself to discover your best life, to live your best life every single day. At the end of the day, I want you to dig down deep and girl, do your shit!
But in the true honor of an “About Me” page, I’m forced to reveal just a bit of who I am, so let’s get started: I’m a mother to the most adorable 8-year-old boy you’ve ever met, I’m from the Midwest (the Hoosier State to be exact), I’m a Miranda Lambert fan to my core, I’m obsessed with Napa and all the beautiful wine it holds, I love kindness and humility, and I have loved writing more than anything since I was young. I truly value time well spent, whether that’s playing Euchre with friends, exploring Tampa Bay or snuggling on the couch with my two dogs. I’ve also loved and lost and been forced to rebuild … which has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
I stand before you, naked in my truth. Please stand beside me, hear my story, find the most relevant points that you can use, and let’s build a tribe together of the most powerful, most kick-ass women we know.
